My honey making time to spend with me after work today, even though it wasn’t one of our normal weekend date nights

The kitten found a brand new, dangerous, place to hide today. She apparently (and stealthily) managed to not only jump into the dishwasher while I left the door open while doing dishes, but was able to work her way BEHIND the open drawer. Twice I tried to close it, but felt some "resistance" to the door closing all the way. I recalled a last glass I had forgotten to put into the dishwasher, so I left the door slightly open. On walking back I heard a faint mewling noise. Then I figured out where the little shit was. Opening her bag of food did the trick and she scampered out like lightning.

It was hard not to smile even as frustrating as she can get sometimes...

I used to have a kitten who liked to sneak into the fridge when my mom wasn’t looking. Got himself stuck in there more than once! He was so cute, but not so smart.
