Reading this post from @morelikeasong ... that is so sweet that her grandmother did that.

When I was little, sometimes my grandmother would take me there for my birthday and give me $30 to pick a toy. She was so incredibly patient with me, letting me look at every single aisle and debate back and forth about what I wanted the most. Very fond memories of that.

And of course the giant one in Times Square with the ferris wheel!
