A moment ago a customer came in the store, I gave him the customary greeting 'hello, how's your day going?' and he was one of the precious few who said something other than 'great, you?'

He said, 'I'm hungry and I have to wait half an hour til supper is done'

I look over at the dozen baked goodies I was just given.. 'Here, have some! There's no weed in them, don't worry' (I work at a cannabis dispensary)

A talk with my mom about raising kids and when to step in and when to just watch and listen. She laughed when I apologized for being a jerk when she tried to help. She said it’s ok cause she gets to watch me with my kid and laugh when I get frustrated

I got a good night's sleep. First, since I moved two months ago. I woke feeling rested and ready for my day. It is amazing how much good sleep affects one's mood.
