Getting my nose pierced! I’ve wanted to do it for a long time and today there was a shop doing a fundraiser for animals in need. It was the perfect opportunity!

OK, last night. But a rainbow at sunset covered the whole sky. Everything inside the rainbow was pinkish-orange, and everything outside was dark blue. The rainbow was like a picture frame around a beautiful colored set of clouds at sunset. So weird and cool at the same time.

I've been casually listening to the audiobook version of the Lord of the Rings for ages - read by the wonderful Andy Serkis.
Today he finally reached The Taming Of Smeagol and did the Gollum voice and it put the biggest smile on my face! Like seeing your favourite band sing your favourite song!

Yeah, she did that to my friend at a works night out. In front of everyone. Pretty bold. I kinda admire her for taking charge of things and just not giving a damn.

I think you are 100% right. Lots of double standards abound and fragile egos. I’m sure she got judged by men and women.

Many men want women to pretend like they have to be swayed/charmed into wanting to have sex with them. I (and I'm sure lots of other women) know pretty quickly if we are attracted to someone/want to have sex with them. I'm either sexually attracted to you or not. Now, the likelihood of that sex happening can either be increased/decreased by the person's behavior.

Let's just say I've had men talk a big game, but when presented with a straightforward "Are you sexually attracted to me? Would you like to have sex?" they start hemming and hawing. For some men, they can't fathom women 1) having a sexual appetite just as large as theirs, and/or 2) being upfront about it.

Yes, it’s odd how some people react. I’m very pro equality and generally open minded, but even I have felt a bit “caught off guard”? I think it requires a shift in my mode, from “try not to be THAT guy” to “oh! Looks like I don’t need to do all the subtle testing the waters type stuff”. If that makes any kind of sense?

It makes sense; you go from thinking you need to "chase" to no chase needing to happen at all, effectively. Men say they wish women would be more straightforward, but their actions belie this.
