Stepping in and coaching my son’s last indoor soccer game of the season and winning against a team of entitled brats who threw a tantrum after the game and their parents even berated the official who I helped get to their car to just get out of there.

It made me smile because they got what they deserved…

A house full of family. I think my old roommate is coming over Sundays for a while. Everyone got to meet my adorable grandson.
He just kept looking at both kids. Then me. Back... I asked what the look was for. He said " I've never met a better mom before." He said how much he's missed living with us.
I am also very grateful for the young adults my kids have become. They have my kind and loving soul and I know they will always be as generous as I have always tried to be.

My oldest son and I were talking while he was heading to the store, when the phone disconnected.

When he called me back, he said he'd jumped out of his car to stop a buggy from hitting some guy's truck in the parking lot.
