One of the women I was with when I received the email, an American Literature professor whose long list of published works include those in fiction and non-fiction, received the forwarded email from me and wrote a quick note to herself to look up specific works in romance and erotic fiction where the male protagonist is an "everyday" person.

She told me to just use characters I can relate to, and those I believe my "fanbase" will as well. She did tell me she'd like to read an erotic piece where the female isn't a 5'10", legs up to the ass, size 2 with DD bra and has "naturally blonde hair."

I'm taking this as a challenge to write about a woman with "More curves than a country mountain road."
