First session of new tabletop RPG campaign with new group. My lvl 1 paladin ready to fight. Here we go. Goblins. First combat. First ambush. Roll initiative, surprisingly not bad. Okay. Here we go. Goblins go first, then his bastard sword is gonna get swung.

Lvl 1 goblin does called shot. (Aimed attack at specific body part. Does double damage if it hits with the penalty of subtracting 6 from the roll)

Rolls natural 20 on the 20 sided die. Criticial hit (double damage again)

Paladin literally died on the first turn.
