It's literally giving me nightmares. I haven't been this disturbed about something in the news since September 11, and this is a whole new kind of disturbing.

That poor little girl's family...
 
When you have children, it's almost impossible to even read these news reports.

They literally make me sick to my stomach.

I can't imagine the pain the parents of this precious little girl are going through right now. My heart goes out to them.
 
and the police think he might do it again.... I mean, honestly... how sick can people get? I woke up because of nightmares about this...

I just hope her family are safe and are getting good help... and I hope parents are guarding their kids...
 
No wishing that only lowers you to his level don't think of that simply wipe him away and prevent him from ever doing it again....

I don't agree with you. I believe that he should suffer what he's made others suffer. Thank God I believe in Kharma (what a statement).

I don't believe in taking out MY revenge on him. I never took revenge on the guy who hurt me so badly. But I know that one day, those who do such things will get what they deserve.

And the parents who murder their own children...

I can't understand at all.

We've had a particularly gruesome case in the UK this week where a father took his four children for a drive and then set fire to the car.

The police said that the bodies showed they were all alive at the time and death was caused by burning and/or smoke inhalation.

That's the image I can't get out of my head. The children sceaming in agony as the flames consumed them...

How can a parent do that sort of thing?

I don't understand it either.

There was a case in Missouri, near where I lived, that a woman lost custody, got a visit, and stabbed both her boys to death. They were age 9 and 12.

I lost my boy to a custody fight too, around the same time. He was 11 at the time He's now 25, and we are good friends.

I don't see how a parent can do that. I know the pain of loss. I can't understand how a parent can harm their child like that.

It's also the more expensive way.
