What kind of sex scene do you write the most?


Do you have more foreplay in your stories or in real life?


Isi it easier to write a piece with lots of foreplay or a short sharp quickie sex scene?

Well since the stories I am writing these days are very short on plot...

The sex in my stories would probably still be considered a quicky even though they make up most of the story. It's easier to write a quicky to me.

I can't really relate how I write sex to the sex in my life because my sex life is sadly non-existent these days.

Foreplay - because then you're able to get into the mood a lot better and make it more realistic.

Since I mostly write elaborate and romantic group stories, there's lots of foreplay. For me, the tension leading up to actual intercourse is the excitement. I have the most fun writing about the verbal interaction between two(or more) characters leading to the sex. In life, I like slow, sexy make-out sessions that last all day long, but I take what I can get.

I don't believe I ever wrote a quickie, per se. It's the impetus behind the actions that makes them sing. I like to give the reader a solid reason they're fucking. It doesn't have to be foreplay, just a good solid reason. My Rainy Day story had little foreplay, but we saw it develop and the context made it clear they couldn't linger.

Rainy Day story (2500 wds)

I'm over fifty. I've never kept a tally. I think you'd miss something if you had never done a quickie, but I couldn't guess proportions of one kind to another.

In reality, as the suave dater knows, the entire evening counts as foreplay. A date which is awkward and funless never sets up hot sex. It all counts.

M/F. I have tossed in some group sex, but I think m/f is far more common for me. Bear in mind I'm including things that are written (or half-so) and not yet submitted, which constitutes most of my work here for Lit.

Do you have more foreplay in your stories or in real life?

In the stories, but that's including oral sex as foreplay often enough, which I consider it to be often in RL as well. In truth, the girls I tend to deal with in RL don't seem overly interested in drawing out the foreplay. Kinda' disappointing actually.

Easier? Easier would be less words (which I don't do well. lol) Less words equals less foreplay. It's all about the math really.
