what kind of music?

I like listening to the sound of new members being slowly suffocated.

Blues, classic rock, and punk. Throw in a bit of metal and a side of country. Basically ill listen to anything but rap

Oldies

I listen to an oldies station. A mish mash of 50's 60's and 70's music.

Traditional heavy metal, glam metal, 70s progressive rock, 90s alternative, old school country (50s through early 80s), trance, house, French Canadian neo-trad, some mainstream 80s, a very small amount of 2000s mainstream rock (what there is of it), once in a while some classical, with the occasional oddity thrown in (I love Kelly Clarkson for instance). I used to like a lot of hardcore punk when I was younger but I can't stand most of that anymore, except for Social D.

Gasp.

A social D fan!
You're ok in my book, especially if you dig bad religion too. They're probably the onlt two punk bands I listen to anymore, aside from the clash.

I have no idea how to describe what I like in words any more. I keep running into situations where two songs I like will seem very similar to me, but someone more knowledgeable about music will assure me they are completely different genres. :confused:

Example:
Baby's On Fire is a mostly-faithful cover of a 70's glam rock song by Brian Eno
Let It Rock is a 00's rap rock song by Kevin Rudolph
Wild is a 90's alternative rock song by Poe
New Found Land is an 00's symphonic metal song by Leaves' Eyes

If I hadn't been told otherwise I'd swear they were all the same genre. :rolleyes: Whatever genre that would be, it's what I listen to. Plus assorted other rock-variants and the less screamy varieties of metal.

I like classic rock,anything by Queen,Blackfoot,Molly Hatchet,Boston,some older country. Les pauls rock!:cattail::cattail:
