It was a toss up between: Always something better to do and Psycho Mom...

Too young to be completely Psycho yet so I'm going with Mrs. Bundy. (Even though I don't have the hair for it.)

~lucky ;)

I went with Joan Crawford, there is a place for everything and everything should be in it's place. My mother needles me all the time about how much of a neat freak I am. I have backed off on it quite a bit lately though, I've started using the frame of mind that I and my family should live each day like it is our last and have been letting the small stuff I used to freak about slide.

Wicked:kiss:

I voted on behalf of the wife -- I don't do housework.

She's Oscar Madison

I'll vacuum the floor.
If i ever find it.

No Martha Stewart?

One or two silly felony convictions, and suddenly she's a pariah?

:(

She didn't do housework. She paid others to do hers, and taught everyone how to make useless stuff that would make real housekeepers insane.

P.

I voted for Oscar but If I were a woman, I would have voted for Peggy Bundy although in some of the earlier shows she actually did some work around the house.

Another Mrs Al Bundy here. There's always far more interesting stuff to do, besides housework.

I haven't done a thing here all day, I've been out and about enjoying myself. We had the first taste of spring here today, the weather was glorious and I feel like a new woman.

Sod the spring cleaning. :D

Katie-Lou :rose:

It rarely happens, but if I get really bored and can't find anything to do, I may remember where I left the cleaning stuff.

Peg Bundy rulez. :D

Tulip, I do so little housecleaning that I always need to reread the directions on cleaning stuff.

Perdita Bundy

The only reason single men clean their apartments? Single women.

So true -- my single friend has a long-distance g/f who's coming to visit. He told me he'just spent two days cleaaning and he's only managed to clean half of the flat. Now he's decided that he's done enough. Not sure how long the relationship will last.

I get other people to clean for me mostly . . . at the sting of my coat hanger?

Joan for me - lol

Oh thank god! :D I thought it was just me that had reached that point.

Love ya more every day, 'Dita.

Min, on the other housekeeping thread people are mentioning the Japanese custom of leaving one's shoes at the door. I would never allow anyone not to wear shoes in my home lest they catch something awful. P. ;)

I just try to avoid allowing people into my home at all. We bought our house 3 years ago and my husband's sister, who doesn't live all that far, has still never seen it. It's worth offending her just to keep her from seeing how we live.

Oh, Min, I know I know. I get invited to dinner and then cannot reciprocate. I'm also reclusive, but it might be easier if I had a neat home.

Perdita :(
