A resort where I have stayed has a 4 poster bed, very tall posts, with wooden frame connecting all 4 posts at the very top. No canopy or fabric decorations on the frame, and headboard is solid wood, so no slats or openings there. I can envision my 'play partner' with leather cuffs on wrist and ankles, and using rope or ratcheting tie downs to fasten each limb to the top of the frame/posts.
