What is your favorite Anne Rice book and why?

Belinda (published under pseudonym "Anne Rampling"). It's got all the beautiful locations of the Vampire books, the same attention to sumptuous detail.

And, it's an interesting erotic love story. Between a middle aged painter and a teenager. Not easy to pull off.

EBW, you are something

:p

....something these Vampires would love to sample.

:D :p :D

What? Does she have two books on Vampires?

Oh YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

:p

Is that by Anne Rice?

:p

what is Lasher about?

:p

Man in the Shadows...

Used to love someone or other...Perfect spook lover...

Then ShaBang...In the Flesh...I still don't know who he iz...

I'm a big fan of her work, though her earlier books were written in the depths of despair and reflect that immensely! I loved Interview, but I'm partial to the Mayfair Witches series as well. I've attempted to read the "Beauty" series: The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty, Beauty's Punishment, and Beauty's Release, but the sexual torture in it was just a bit too harsh for me! It's been a while since I've picked one of those up...I may try again! :D Those are written under another one of her names, A. N. Roquelaure.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Anne Rice...she's an amazing lady, I got to meet her at a book signing and she was SO nice!

is that the info on Lasher?

:p

Thanks Celestrial.....but I still want to hear from the literoticans

:p

How many wordz do you need?

He came back...Like Horus or something...Please don't ask me who Horus is...

Baby, Don't Fear the Reaper...

:)

Two books not in the mayfair witchs or vampire chronicals:

The Mummy
Memnoch The Devil

I prefered these to the series.

Her WORST book which I couldnt finish cos it
was so depressing was Violin. I have only ever not
finished 4 books in my life and I read 2-5 books a week,
so that must indicate how BAD it was.

The witching Hour...Hell I think all the Mayfair witches books are amazing.

And yes Lavender even Taltos :p

The Witching Hour is my fav, but the first few chapters of

The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty

changed me forever :)

Ahh, I want the Beauty series!

Anne Rice, A. N. Roquelaure, Anne Rampling

I have read most of her books, she is good!
I enjoyed her Exit to Eden, but wished more, different.
It is different, her BDSM writing, a male willing to go for training.

I have been trying to get hold of her Beauty series, I think that may be more to my taste, but have not been able to find any!

I live in Australia, our book stores are sadly lacking, and I dislike ordering anything over the net!
The currency conversion confuses me and the doubts of giving my credit card details scares me!

If anyone has the books, I will pay for the postal cost!
I really want to read those books!

Frustrated now!
Smiles nicely
:)

I have read everything she's written

and my favorite in the Vampire Chronicles is "Queen of The Damned"

I also enjoyed The Mayfair Witches and Mummy.

She has a newer one out that I haven't read yet though ... Merrick or something like that.

I have the Beauty series but I'm not parting with it. ;-)

the mayfair witches, is one of my favourites......but i really loved violin.......it was such an intriging story, held me from start to finish.......:)

Aye Vixen!

Her books now, her new ones, I have not read.
My mind and tastes have changed...
Yes, sadly keep hold of that series as they seem to be out of print!
But, if you know of anyone or anywhere, then I would be very grateful!
Are they as I think?
Male dominant to female - slave?
But from the female side maybe?
Oh, I so want to read them!
