What is up with the height obsession women have?

Sorry, I just noticed this. You can't seriously be suggesting that you've missed the very explicit expectations on weight and age many men include in their "want ads"? I think them as least as common as women asking for tall men and GSOH. They might even be on a standing with the dreaded "long walks on the beach."
Women can lose weight. Men can never truly increase their height. And older women admirer groups are legion.

I guarantee you that I can find you more men who date fat women or older women, proportionally speaking, than women who date shorter men. I guarantee you.

But, they have to be tall to do this?
No. I was just having fun. ;) As long as they don't groan when they pick me up it's all good.

Vato, I'm 5ft even, I'll be buried in heels.
I hear ya. I'm short and wear suits every day. I'd look like an idiot in flat shoes with a dress/skirt.

I could never understand that either.

I’m 5’3” and I generally think I’d look ridiculous walking with someone who is 5’9” or taller.

Lets start it out by saying, yes, I'm not very tall. 5'5''

Every time i read a personal ad every single one of them say the same thing. TALL!!!

What is it? I mean do woman have a fear of not being able to reach stuff? I see a ton of guys taller than me that are just flat out ugly. But when responding to a online personal ad they will get more attention because they can proudly state that they are 6'3''. The fact that they look like a sea donkey in person doesn't come up until much later. But me, who is fairly good looking guy won't even get a response because I am under the oh so impervious 5'9''.

What is the story with this woman?

its' the same as men's obsession with weight on a woman eh

A single post of yours is like an entire thread with that HUGE sig pic of a Lit poll. It's kind of annoying, hon.

I know I'm a newbie, and I know this will be my second post to this thread, but...in for a penny and all that...

I've been thinking about the short guy thing, and here's what I think it is for me: a lot of shorter men that I've met have an attitude. I'm not generalizing about all shorter men, just the ones I've met with this short guy attitude. It especially comes out when they are faced with a taller woman. It's like they are overcompensating with a really pissy attitude. It's a turn off, that's for sure. So....I don't know.

Fixed. I can find better ways to be annoying besides being so unintentionally. :)

It sucks, but it's Nature.

I may not be much to look at, but I thank Thor every day that I am over 6'.

I don't know why it's so hard for some guys to understand. *shrug*

Though, I try not wear shoes that are so high that I'm uncomfortable. But, I need at
least a 3 inches on my heels.

Really?
I've always pictured you shorter, not much, but certainly not over 6'.

Signatures can be easily turned off.

Who told you all this shit?

Women don't care how tall a man is. They really don't care if he is ugly, which is a good thing for most of us.

This is just a variation of the "does size matter" game.
You couldn't be any wronger.

I've never heard a woman complain about size. If he's really small dicked, it could be a problem, but 90% of guys are okay.

Probably every woman I've met in my life won't date a guy that's shorter than her. Including 6' tall women.

excluding Funk.

I will date any height, including shorter than me. But taller is hot... up to 6'3" which is the maximum I've ever dated. (Though I'd date taller)

They're really not. I always wear heels and my feet never hurt.

Same here. The key is finding a decent style/cut.

Ya know, when I wear flats my feet hurt and I'm more apt to trip.
