What is the most erotic non-X rated film you've seen?

Interview with the Vampire. I don't know what it is about that film, but it always gets me going.
Honeybum, what doesn't get a teenage boy going?

Auntie Pear

nudity and Nettles

I got one thing to say about that topic.. OW! Been there, done that. Never EVER want to do it again.

Most erotic film I ever saw:

Dear John - Norwegian 1966
early full frontal nudity, about half the picture spent in bed, and yet a tremendously romantic film

The subway scene in Risky Business (1983) was good enough to trigger the last sex at a drive-in movie I ever had.

One more for the list: Swordfish with John Tavolta, Halle Berry, and Hugh Jackman.

In the scene where Travolta is trying to 'persuade' Jackman to so some creative hacking for him, Drea de Matteo goes down out of camera range - Travolta as an aside during negotiations says "She's very good at what she does, isn't she?"

Of course the critique I heard on the radio was: "This is a great suspense film and you get to see Halle Berry naked. It has all the requisite explosions and you get to see Halle Berry naked. Banks get robbed, people get threatened, and did I mention you get to see Halle Berry naked?"

I wanted to sue the critic for false advertising. She keeps her panties on.

Hrmmm, I think the one movie where Halle Berry is nude is Monster's Ball. But then again, that's a very SLOW movie in my opinion.

Had to add one I saw today: The Swimming Pool starring Charlotte Rampling. It's definitely erotic and extremely well written. It has naked people, sex, innuendo, unrequited love, revenge, murder... let's see, anything else, oh yeah, a midget, mature sex, immature sex, and it takes place mostly in France with an English woman as an author just trying to get the next book done.

Eff, I saw "Swimming Pool" yesterday. I loved it and want to see it again soon. I adore Rampling, always have, and Ozon's others films esp. the 'sand' one with CR; and the 8 Women.

Luscious visuals in 'Pool'.

Well, it certainly fits the bill, as 90% of the film is certainly not erotic, but..

'Class' Jaqueline Bisset as the love/sex-starved mature woman in the fur coat having an affair with her son's college dorm-mate.

In the words of Louis Balfour: "Nice!"

Come to think of it, I like Bisset and Albert Finney in John Huston's Under the Volcano by Malcolm Lowry.

No se puede vivir sin amar - definately qualifies as steamy.

-FF (it is not possible to live without loving)

Film threads tonight ... I like it ....

Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant ... that scene where he masturbates against the car while making the little Jersey girl show him her ass and making the other one show him how she'd give a BJ ... nice.

Reviving an old thread that deserves attention.

Caged 1950 with Eleanor Parker as the young innocent in prison brutalised by the sadistic prison warden Hope Emerson.

The scene where her head is shaved is extremely erotic in a way that makes me feel a little uncomfortable.

Chocolat. After seeing that movie, I wanted to have a long, slow meal and a "massage." :)

Ah, I always find "Bull Durham" rather stirring.

"Dangerous Liaisons," too.

And "Lady and the Tramp"

I have always had some fairly emotional ties to "Bull Durham" for it's baseball connections. I always liked the word/emotion play between the three principals, and the energy between Annie and Crash in the latter third of the film.

But I never really considered it a major turn on film until recently, when it developed an association with a particular individual with a very sexy mind....

Say what?

Strong men tremble while weak ones faint dead away at the thought of how the Imp unit must respond to, Bambi.

Can I send you the new DVD?

Rumple Foreskin

ps: Since this thread has been revised, I'll repeat my first choice, "A Man and A Woman."

Unfaithful - I think Diane Lane is incredibly sexy in this film and the scenes with her are done very well.
