What is the difference between "content" and "thread?"

When I go to a member's profile, under the Find dropdown are "find all content" and "find all threads." For one member everything is under "content," nothing under "threads." For another member it looks the exact same posts are listed under each. What's the difference in the Find items, and why does one member display differently than another?

"Threads" lists all the threads the member started. "Content" lists all the individual posts. This post will show up in my "content" but not my "threads." Your post above will show up in both your "content" and "threads."

"Content" but no "threads" would mean the member posted in other people's threads but never started a thread themself. "Content" the same as "threads" would mean the member started a number of threads but never posted more than the original post in any of them and never posted in anyone else's threads.
