What is the cheapest wine/beer/liquor you buy to actually consume?

I like this Japanese plum wine--it is either 6 or 8 bucks a bottle, depending if I get it on sale or not. (I usually buy it at Fiesta near the Dome just inside the Houston loop--if anyone else just has to try some.)

For booze, I usually get Skyy vodka (10$ maybe) or some sweet schnapps if it is cold season and I am doing the excessive consuption of hot chocolate. Kaluah (10$ maybe again) is good for that too. I don't drink enough hard stuff to buy it much.

So what do you buy and how little do you spend?

I used to drink Busch beer. Not by choice, but it's ok.

I've had the wine in a box, and vodka and whiskey by the jugs.

And, I didn't spend a dime.

Actually, quite the contrary. I have a full sized fridge that is kept half full with beer at all times - most of it Belgian.

I just hate pilsners (which most of the mainstream American beers are).
