story you've read on lit?

For me, there are too many to name, but a few come to mind that really left an impression.

The Girl With The Golden Eyes - DarkLit

Randy Comes Home - Rumple Foreskin

Faithful - Tatelou

Eviction - (Can't remember the author)

The Others - Green Gem

M.I.K.E. - doormouse (had to get a plug in lol)

What are your fave stories, or ones that you remember and find hard to forget?

Fire Pole by cantdog

Charactoons by Guru

MIKE by doormouse

Long Distance Runner----Colleen Thomas

LMFAO!!!!!!!!

Where do you get these things????? lol :p

ferociouskittycat,

Bless you for including one of my stories in your list. It's not close to being among the best, but I'll still take the warm fuzzy. I'm now working on chapter four in the "Randy" series. Oh yeah, great AV.

As for "best" stories, I'm going to cheat and instead mention two authors we haven't been seeing much of around here recently.

KillerMuffin's work is among the very best Literotica has to offer readers. Until recently, she was a fixture and helped many of us as writers. Always serious about her own writing, she often tried new subjects and styles. Check any category and you'll find one of her stories. With over twenty E's (editor choice) and several W's (winner) to her credit, it's obvious the quality of KillerMuffin's writing never varied.

KillerMuffin's story/poem list

Thesandman is the quiet writer who drifts on and off the AH board. What he leaves is among the best writing on Literotica. Like KillerMuffin, he's also submitted stories in almost every Lit category. Along the way, he's picked up a mind-boggling 12 W's, numerous E's, and a vast horde of H's. Thesandman is so good, he even has an H for a non-erotic story, and a non-erotic poem.

Thesandman's story/poem list

As Joe Bob Briggs (the drive-in, horror movie critic) would say, "Check 'em out."

I'm flattered to get a mention on your list with 'The Others,' thanks a lot.

It's a difficult question to answer because I've read some great stories here, but I think the very best for me has to be dr_mabeuse's "Matt Danger and The Bound Angel" trilogy. It was brilliantly written with superb style and imagery. It was funny and damn sexy and had twists and turns. I still believe it would make a great movie. It's pure dr_m magic!

Other stories that have made a lasting impression have been :

M.I.K.E by Doormouse

Silent Dancing by Steve w

Get into my shorts by Coolville

Cindy -The Professor's Bane by MLyons

I'm sure there are more, I just need to think!

Oops I forgot to add Killermuffin's novella - "Breaking of Article 134"

I still have lurid thoughts about "The Major"

I can't answer the "best" story question. That's too difficult and everyone has their tastes, but I'll answer the question above.

Callis - By Omni.

This story has sexual tension the likes of which is rarely seen on any erotic story site. It's marked by remarkably fresh descriptions, and raw, animal passion that makes human sex feel like what it really is--instinctive, hungry, animal, mating. A simply amazing story.

Amsterdamned: Weekend of Kink by Green_Gem

I've mentioned this in another thread, but Incest/Taboo is a category I normally hate. I still had trouble with the incest aspects of this story, but for some reason the main character in this story, Chloe, is absolutely irrisistable to me, and the other characters aren't too shabby either. Again, there's remarkably inventive ideas in this story--one of Green_Gem's hallmarks.

A Slave to Politics by Speechmaster (Especially the first 6 chapters)

Although heavy on the fantasy side of things, and Speechmaster is VERY focused in what he likes to write about, this story appeals to my darker side in a way that few have. It is simply relentless in its fantastical explorations of sexual denial, and one of the most econoimcally written sex stories I've read.

Mind you, these are the stories that have made the most lasting impressions on me only among the stories I've read, and I've paired down a lot at that. There are countless others I haven't read yet.

EDITED -- because simple lists are freakin' boring. REASONS are what make things interesting.

I appreciate the kind comments RF...

And for those who are interested in reading what some are saying is perhaps my best story, I'd invite you to try reading "The Key". It's a bit lenghty, but it had to be or the story couldn't have been told. Well worth the read I believe for pure simple entertainment if nothing else.

And thanks again for your comments.

Yay welcome aboard The Sandman.

Read your stuff... fantastic stuff, although I think, honestly I've read but two of your stories. I always leave a vote and comment. You'd know better than me without reading your story titles.

I have to agree though, you are a brilliant author.

Like the late, unlamented Howard Cosell, doormouse and I are just telling it like it is.

I'll be sure to check out "The Key."

I have read so many good stories here but the only one that comes to mind right off is Tender Mercies by phineas. It's a novella so be warned it's quite long, 41 Lit pages. Well worth it though if you have the time to give it.

I love the longer stories W n E.

They generally take you on a journey, and if they're well written, one you wish never ended.

I'll bookmark that one!! Thanks for the tip ;)

Dormouse,
It's a Sci-Fi/Fantasy story but it is SO well written it just sucks you in. I think you would enjoy it even if that isn't a catagory you like to read.
