It's a combination of several different emotions ..

The best advice I ever heard about love actually came from my crazy psych. prof last year:

If a person says they love me, I always ask: "What exactly do you like about me? How do I make your life better?"

If they can't answer those questions without using the word (or beating around the word) *love* then run .. run fast.
