Three examples: 1) An Idaho man, divorces his wife and leaves her for his mistress. She converts him to "Christianity" only a warped version thereof. She convinces him that his ex-wife and kids are demonically possessed so they arrange to murder all three- ex wife and kids. He is put on trial and receives the death penalty. This could be seen as a blantant infringement on his religious liberty and an attack on Christianity.

2) A recluse in a cabin in the Montana woods, a former with ultra left-wing views, mails bombs to his enemies due to his beliefs that modern technology was destroying civilized society. A highly educated college graduate, from Harvard in fact, he was a mathematician and enlightened man. He was later arrested for his bombing campaign and sentenced to life in a super max prison. Many argue he was unjustly imprisoned for expressing his views and railing against the fascist modernist Conservative society.

3) an ex-president steals classified documents, lies about paying off a porn star he is having an affair with, avoids paying taxes, and conspires to violently overturn an election in which he lost. He is charged with all three crimes and so far, has been convicted only of the second, by a unanimous jury verdict.

Which of these are examples of "Lawfare?" Unjust application of the law to take down a political opponent?
You could make a case for all three, but the important thing is...

....the correct answer is "None of the above."

All three are examples of justice. Crime and punishment for the consequence of breaking the law, because a lawful and civilized society holds people accountable for thier crimes. Jo matter who they are.

Yup - Deplorables found a new buzzword this week.

It's never come up with them before, despite decades of minorities getting screwed by the American legal system. Wonder why? 🤔
