This is one of those topics/questions that just can't be answered easily. Actually it can only be asnswered by the individual him/herself........... but...........

You might want to check out the Library at the top of this forum, there are lots of threads there that go into all facets of submission, including the emotions and physical sensations that a submissive/slave might feel under all kinds of circumstances.

If you are new to the lifestyle or merely curious and searching, the library is a good place to begin.

I think the best help I can offer in how a sub should and should not act when with a Dominant is to get to know the Dominant, what they expect or want, and then what feels comfortable for you in each situation. Despite the beliefs of some at times, there are no hard and fast rules which apply apart from being submissive and not dominant if the sub role is the one you chose.

The journey is an interesting and exciting one if it is what you find is right for you. The first experiences can be mind blowing, ecstatic, and unlike anything else you will ever have known....and for those like me, become addictive. IMO it also works wonders in building your sense of self, giving you a satisfying feeling of achievement, and a knowledge you can overcome or conquer some things you may never have thought possible before.

I wish you well in your venture and in finding a trustworthy Dom to help you make those first steps into your desired reality.

If you're not able to convince your husband to top you, please don't seek a dominant outside your relationship unless you're prepared to have an affair. I know of several people who are cheating on their spouse because "oh he/she just won't give me what I need" but that isn't justification for sleeping around.

If your husband is aware of the affair, that's one thing, but if not - please don't consider cheating on him. Work it out with him first before you seek somebody else.
