Sleepy, in very early for a USNEWS show that will probably never be seen. Can't believe how much bread these fuckers blow. Anyway.......

Because of all that - about a 7 or so.

Will be a great day here in NYC if I ever get to see the light of it. I'll be in the fake light, deep in the black hole of a TV studio all day.

Anyway hope you all get to see the light - at least today.

Good morning Sparky.

Today started out as a 2. I have two little girls and expect a certain number of things to go wrong every morning. Today, everything, anything, and things I was not aware were even within the realm of possibility went wrong. By 7:30, both children had this wide-eyed, not blinking, pale look of shock on their faces...and it's only Monday.

Long story short, I decided to hell with it. We are not playing the hard-driving, stressed-out game at the ages of seven and eight. So, we are not participating today and the world will get over it. Currently, we are all 8s and by the time we finish making brownies, watching cartoons, and going to the park to feed the ducks, I predict we will all be 10s.

Oh, and it's sunny and cold right now, but we're expecting the temp to climb 30 degrees by midday.

Morning Sparky! I would say I am a 8 today. I had a great weekend and still living in the glow from that.

I happen to believe that "bending the rules," the rules of the day are important for everyone at certain times. It's sort of recapturing sanity. I think it's so important to demonstrate that to the young'uns too. As long as it's clear that "this is special" and the reasons for it. My parents (parent), my mom - my dad, a journalist, was on the road all the time - never bent rules like that.

Whether it's playing sick when you not. Stretching that doctor's/dentist's appointment an hour or so - whatever - stopping and smelling those roses - is good for the soul.

I envy you, and your kids - this morning.

Sometimes ya just gotta fight for yer right to party.

Got to see the Rocket attempt to cripple poor Mike Pizza last night - you talk about, watchin' yer tube and then - a huge disbelieving WHAT? What the fuck did I just see? Did that actually happen.

Man I love live TV!!!! Everybody's talkin' about it this morning.

And the look on Mike's face - was like - hey? Did he just throw that stick at me? And Mike's still got the broken handle of the bad in his hand - like a club. I thought he might wump Roger up side the head with it.

It was great TV of a great moment in sports.

I dont know but im startin out at a 4. I worked last night I finally got home around 2 and I start at 10 this morning. We are extremely shorthanded so I will be working my ass off!! I'm 8.9 today!!! Coming off of getting laid this weekend by a juicy ex and TINA TURNER last night was un-fucking-believable. That woman amazes me. Joe Cocker was pretty damn good too. His drummer was rockin' like crazzzzzzzy.

Sky is dull grey and looks like rain but woke up singing "Zippity Do Da" to my son and I'm NO morning person.

Good Morning all, It's a cold day in the northern plains, got the kids to school on time, give me an eight.
I'm still trying to come up with something gruesome for halloween. I have a small P.A. with a mike to startle the little goblins. I also have a crude casket, I'm thinking a body gurgling blood for those who dare open the lid. Any ideas how to make this happen?

Try a small garden fountain pump and red food coloring, corn starch, and water for blood.

Last time I checked... Randy Johnson was playing in Arizona and Mike Piazza with the dodgers? Please tell me that was in the last 10 years! God does that show how much baseball we see in OZ (And the last time I bought a SPORT magazine)

Over here it is 1 and a half hours into tuesday and on the sparkometer it is a 6 due to sleep not coming fast enough.

Oh also as an offside wasn't it a shame that the Yankee's couldn't sign Dave Nielsson (Sp) the Aussie catcher just before the playoffs again this year. I mean here is a guy who said to the Yankees "Look I am going to play in the olympics for Australia... if you sign me now(offseason) you will have to let me go there" They said OK, we wont sign you but give us a call when you are finished... so he does and a paperwork fuckup doesn't let him join the team to win another World Series.

Does anyone else now think the Yanks will push that consecutive wins record to 16-0 by the end?
