what is acceptable?

Hi all

This is my very first day on literotica! I am interested in becoming one of the authors on here but not sure what is acceptable. I have already realized that some of my stories are not allowable. I like writing kidnapped and held hostage, humiliation, domination and force, those sort of things. My question I want to ask is, how is racial name calling seen here? I am a black woman and I enjoy a hot story with name calling but I don't want to offend anyone. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

I had my first story rejected for under age sex and I didn't write the characters ages in the story. You could write the story and let a volunteer editor look it over. I'm a white female, so I don't know about racial name calling. I just wouldn't do it. I don't think its nice.

thanks for your reply but im not trying to be nice, im trying to write a good story that turns me on. i know that there are a lot of ppl that like it as well as i roleplay often and thats what they ask me to do. this country is so busy trying to be politally correct, we cant be truthful with eachother. its only fantasy. its time to get over ourselves now.

On literotica's main story site, there is a list of what is not acceptable content for stories.

The main no-no's are:

- Bestiality (This does not include mythical beings)

- Underage sex (all characters must be 18+)

- Rape/extreme violence (There is a nonconsent section, which includes "light" rape scenarios.)

As far as I know, racial slurs are acceptable. However, if you are planning to allow voting and/or comments on your story, prepare for a tirade of complaints.

There was a whole thread on this a while back. The short of it is if the woman likes it in the end it's usually allowable.

Your safest bet with humiliation/degredation is to have it be consentual. Make the character ask to be called a _____ (insert word here). As long as the reader knows that the character is getting hot from what's being done to her, you'll probably be ok.

It doesn't seem like there isn't anything that's preventing you from writing what you want. Good luck :)

Do your thing. If you want your characters calling each other names, then have at it. You are the writer. You tell us how it is. We might show you if you like it or not. It's not different that any other story.

Some writers add disclaimers. Just something to think about. I don't use them because the category I write in speaks for itself.

I've used the 'interuption-method', where the character gets part-of-the-word out, but something happens or someone says something... The scene retains its flow, while the audience 'gets it'... Also, endeavor-to invent words that actually sound worse than the disallowable ones. -Was once at a picnic-thing with kids around, when a guy dropped his food-plate. Instead-of blurting 'the MF-word', he quick-changed it to "mother-ripper", which had every kid in the vicinity agog-in-astonishment.
