What is a Spreader Bar?

It's a bar that I've mostly seen used between the ankles. It attached to ankle cuffs, or whatever you may want to use, and keeps the legs forced apart.

Spreader bars also work to keep arms spread apart too. Like in the movie "The Secretary". Interesting tool, however difficult to move around with one between your ankles.

Don't waste your money buying them from a bdsm site. They are easy to make with dowels and eye hooks.

The best ones I've found recently were in the auto section in Walmart. Sold as bars to hang up your clothes in the back seat, they are 3 feet wide and expand up to almost 6. It's much easier to pack something three feet long for travel. They already have D rings on the ends. Great deal for 7 bucks. It's nice to have two though.

Bit off track, but I just finished reading an excellent book (Sorrow Mountain by Ani Pachen and Adelaide Donnelley) where the imprisoned nun had to wear the equivalent placed on her by her Chinese captors, for a year without them ever being removed. When she was finally released from them she found it nearly impossible to walk. Certainly not the fun we have with them.

Actually it isn't hard to fuck while you are in a spreading bar. Sometimes it takes some imagination to figure out just the right position tho. However, that's another part of the fun.

Haven't found it too difficult..missionary is about the most difficult next to woman on top which is nearly impossible balance wise.

Spreader bars are good fun - duck-walking subs with spreader bars between ankles can do nasty things to your abdominal muscles. Make them whistle "Bob the Builder" as they waggle around, snap their butts for speed with a crop and you should have a jolly good afternoon.
Having the sub lie on his/her back and attaching spreader bars between right ankle and left wrist and vice versa should keep him/her occupied for some time..

You know, it's amazing how something so simple can be unfamiliar by someone.

But, I would much rather show you what one is...or maybe two. To have you spread eagle and helpless, with your treasures at my mercy would be such fun.
