How many men does a woman have to sleep with before she should consider herself a slut?4
 
I've always heard two different stories about the difference between a slut and a whore.

A slut is someone that likes to fuck, a whore is someone that fucks for a profit of some kind....
And then there's this one.
A slut is someone that will fuck anyone, a whore is someone that fucks anyone but YOU!
 
When is a man a slut. When you call a man who fucks alot a slut, only then, can you call a woman a slut.
 
A slut is someone who takes sex wherever they can get it for enjoyment.

Ha ha - is it a state of mind or a physical state ... or does it need to be both?

In answer to the OP - I'm at 70+ and don't consider myself a slut. So I guess 'more than 70'?
 
I don't see it being about numbers at all. It's about a person's primary 'driver' for sex. Not only is he or she not interested in relationship when it comes to sex, but he or she is primarily seeking their own pleasure and sense of achievement in 'scoring' such that the pleasuring of the other person or persons is no more than a celebration of his or her own sense of sexual prowess. At the end of the day it's selfish sex from start to finish.

That's who a slut really is, I reckon. Some of them have had very few partners.

Then there are other women and men who have taken half their town into high orbits of bliss fucking around. They are hot women and studs. Some of them might like to take the title, "slut". But they're not. They're sex fiends and lovers.

That's my take.
 
To Puritan society a slut would be defined as a woman who's had a high number of sexual partners. It also has a negative stigma to it. Years ago I was one of those persons. I didn't have a problem with "sluts" per say. Whatever feels good go for it. But I didn't see a slut as marriage material and wouldn't be bringing "her home to Mom". I started dating Mrs. Screwher around that time and I was thrilled with her limited experience before me. If it turned out she was a "slut" before me then honestly I just would've notched myself on her bedpost and hit the road.

Now here we are years later I have a different view of things. I don't believe in the idea of a slut. Or at least it's no longer a negative. My wife and I have now entered into a hotwife type lifestyle. I'm looking forward to my wife raking up the numbers to where society will think of her as a slut. And now I wish she was a lot more active before me and continued with more men than she has throughout our marriage.

That's what I was talking about really. I have a lot of sexual partners both with and without my husband's knowledge. I wondered if that makes me a slut in other people's eyes. I like to think it does LOL

A slut is a woman of substantial and varied sexual appetites who pursues her sexual pleasure with little to no regard for the constraints that others wish to impose upon on her.

I don't know if you can put a number on it, especially independent of the woman's age or access to sexual partners. It is all about her attitude towards sex, appetite for a variety of sexual partners and willingness to act on it.

On that basis, yes you are a slut Jenn ;).

As an aside I have never met anybody, man or woman, who will consistently "fuck anybody" regardless of whether they find their sexual partners attractive (unless they are being paid). That is just hyperbole designed to be reductive of women.

I like that definition. It's exactly how I feel about myself and how I behave. I am lucky to have a partners who is proud of me as I am. I love being a slut

none, really.

A slut is a behavior type, not a counter above your head. You can be a virgin and be a slut at the same time.

Also there's time and place to be slutty. A woman can behave decently in public but be slutty with her husband in bed, if that's what they both like.
And yea, a man can be a slut too. I don't know if I heard that word applied to males, but the general behavior is there.
 
My late first wife, my Daughter and Daughter-in-Law have all been referred to as sluts but it is more because of their fashion choices than sexual activity, although the fashion choices are designed to lead to sexual activity.
