shereads said:I use Safari, which is Firefox with an Apple twist. I keep Firefox and Netscape available, and am finding it more and more necessary to switch from one to the other. My online bank and some other sites that I use routinely seem to upgrade so frequently, one or more browser versions becomes obsolete faster than its replacement can be released.
I liked Netscape, but they stopped making upgrades for Mac back at Version 7.2, which has a certain vintage charm but is increasingly incapable of handling every function of every site. I keep it for times when Firefox and Safari run into glitches that only Netscape can handle.
When I rule the planet as your goddess, there will be no compabibility issues in commonly used technology. Starting with those little card-swipe devices at checkout counters, which will have the Yes/No/Enter buttons in the same positions whether you're at Home Depot or Macy's. No more "Cancel" where "Enter" is supposed to be.
Camino is like Firefox for a Mac- you might check it out. I've found that all the sites that hate Safari do okay with Camino.
