what inspires your writing?

I usually get inspired by a movie or poster. I take in many forms of media and use that as a basis for a fantasy which in turn becomes a story.

What inspires you?
A phrase?
A real life event?
Or do you sit and brain storm?

Hmmm. I'm feeling rather uninspired of late, so it's hard to remember. Usually, I get inspired by gay porn or reality tv or just people in general.

hard to say. reading does make me want to write. but what inspires what i write? lots of things. maybe something i see, something i hear. i have no idea, it's just suddenly there.

Usually it's real life. I rarely end up writing about it because it comes out too personal and narrative sounding.
