Which I believe means Laurel has to insert the HTML tags, which can lead to more chance for error. PM Laurel, explain and include a link to the story. She seems good about taking care of things like that.
This is one reason that submitting the text by copy/paste into the box on the submission page is what I prefer. You can then preview the story. It's saved me a couple of times on situations just like this, where I had a missing or incorrect tag.
