When a guy is trying to catch your attention, just what exactly makes your sparks fly?

I'm trying to impress this girl from my high school, and I was hoping to get a few tips from all you lovely ladies out there. <3

Don't whip your cock out in the middle of class. If you're over 18 you'll have to visit your local precinct at least once a yr.

But a few ladies were impressed, judging by their applause.

(that wasn't applause, that was snickering:eek:)

Confidence is a big turn on for me. Just act like you know she likes you and she might if you look halfway decent.

I know I'm shallow, but I like good-looking guys with a tight ass. Sue me.

An intelligent, witty man. Seduce me with words first.

Ok, so if you aren't talking grand gestures, then here is my list of what impresses me about the opposite sex:
Kindness
thoughtfulness
manners
intelligence
humor
great hands
And an overall great attitude.

Now, if you mean grand gestures, then a simple flower or a note would be fantastic. Being in high school kind of sucks in the fact that you can't be TOO enthusiastic because it might be construed badly. Good luck with your wooing. Somehow I doubt this girl will be able to keep away from you.

Be careful about "trying to impress." Be your best self, rather than putting on a demonstration, and remember that self-confidence is different than cockiness or pushiness. Wings' list is dead on. If you are straightforward and sincere in those ways, any reasonably mature young woman will notice. If you can honestly be those things and she's not interested, it's most definitely her loss!

Also, make sure you have a decent haircut. And smile. :)

Good luck!!!!

I definitely agree... forget about trying to impress.

Just screw up your courage and ask her to go to Starbucks (or wherever) after school... Be honest, be straightforward... Just say I like you and I'd like to go out with you. If she says no, just say (nicely)... all right, thank you anyway... I just wanted you to know where I stand...

Brush your teeth, chew some gum, and smell good. When you talk to her, make her feel like you can't see anyone else, like what you have to say is a secret for her ears only, even if its just asking to borrow a pencil. That will get you noticed, and that's the first step in her seeing how great you are!

If your conversation goes something like this, its not a good thing.

Chris Knight: So, if there's anything I can do for you, or, more to the point, to you, you just let me know.
Susan: Can you hammer a six-inch spike through a board with your penis?
Chris Knight: Not right now.
Susan: A girl's gotta have her standards.

Hah ah ha! ! ! Nice post :D

Mmm, thank you all for your opinions. I was hoping for nothing outside a first date. :]

In no way was I looking to score, but to rather drag myself out of the single pool.

And, yea. We had a few dates, and all. We just didn't find ourselves liking each other more than friends.

And, by the way. ;D She's 18 as well. x]

Spend more than 6 bucks on your haircut.

Wear shoes that can be polished, and make sure they are.

Hygiene.

The drunk guy gets the drunk girl.

eye contact and smell good tell her you like somethingshe is wearing... Tell you like her smile... That always makes me smile more...

yep, smelling good is a definite MUST.

I guess it's different for everyone, but I really like it when someone is direct. Being too polite gives the impression that you're not all that interested in anything other than friendship. Impress her by showing that you know exactly what you want & you're going to get it...unless she doesn't wanna of course!

& be sure to show interest in her, and in what she has to say.

& obv. being drunk kinda helps things move a bit quicker..;)
