Party Hard and She Is Beautiful by Andrew W.K. Gah damn that guy rocks!

A friend this morning said I should download those two and check him out.. I did and I'm going to grab the CD tommorow.

Which brings me to a question...

Who was the last artist recomended to you by a friend, and after you downloaded a few songs off the net to check them out you then went out and bought the CD.

Of who was the last artist / band that you checked out only to realize they are crap?

A friend recommended Linkin Park. Let me listen to a couple of songs. I thought, "hm, not my style, but not bad." I wound up downloading half the CD before I had to buy it.

Last artist that I was told about though wasn't impressed with at all was Shakira.. Not that she's bad, but I guess I'm just not much into her music.
