What I believe...

I believe....

When you watch a loved one slowly die over a long period of time, the end is not traumatic, there is a peace that only caregivers can understand.

“I do not want to be the leader. I refuse to be the leader. I want to live darkly and richly in my femaleness. I want a man lying over me, always over me. His will, his pleasure, his desire, his life, his work, his sexuality the touchstone, the command, my pivot. I don’t mind working, holding my ground intellectually, artistically; but as a woman, oh, God, as a woman I want to be dominated. I don’t mind being told to stand on my own feet, not to cling, be all that I am capable of doing, but I am going to be pursued, fucked, possessed by the will of a male at his time, his bidding.”
Anais Nin

She has the total right of it.

I believe that art - of whatever kind, at whatever skill level - is participation in the divine.

I believe...
there is such a thing as true love and soul mates.
that true love will never die regardless of the relationship status.
for every slave at heart, there is just the right Master waiting for her.
in the power of the spoken and written word.
that a word is mightier than a whip. (go ahead - try it - the wrong words can hurt more, faster and last longer than a turn under the whip)
that while ignorance can be corrected with education, unfortunately, stupidity cannot.
that a persons worst enemy is their own negative thinking.
in myself.

I believe that there are some "sins" that time cannot erase.
I believe that sometimes you have to fight so fucking hard for something that you begin to wonder what the fuck you are fighting for.
I believe I am angry...rage-filled, and vengeful and cannot express it.
I believe that someone, somewhere will think I am good enough just as I am.
I believe that this "lifestyle" is a big fucking joke sometimes.
I believe it's all not worth it.

I believe that art - of whatever kind, at whatever skill level - is participation in the divine.

I believe you are right. I find proof in the reverence found in the faces and hushed voices of the people that choose to find and appreciate it and also in the knowing smiles of those that faithfully create it.

I believe men should always leave the seat up to encourage women to try harder to learn to pee standing up. I believe the recognition of this being the acceptable norm would not only end an age old frustration between the sexes but more importantly this additional skill would help me enjoy camping SO much more.

I believe that the human body is a perfect argument for the existence of a blind clockmaker

I believe in messy, comfortable workspaces.

Until I clean them, finally, and realize that I was all wrong.

I believe that when it comes to really loving someone, part of the preciousness of the time you share with each other is the unspoken and mutual understanding that at some point you will both have to let go.

I believe that eventually I will learn.

I believe that trust is the hardest thing for me to have

I believe that when he tells me something he means it

I believe I'm entitled to be happy

I believe that the I can be an acute pain in the ass

I believe that sometime I deserve to have an acute pain on my ass

I beleive that tomorrow is another day and a new start

I believe in him
