What have you posted recently?

I've posted 3 stories recently. All three of them were slight departures from my normal MO but I'm glad with how they came out.

The first two stories were a lesbian series called Roommates Awakening.

Here is part 1:

And here is part 2:

The most recent story was a taboo story, involving a F/D and her boyfriend. It is the first story I ever wrote that include male on male action.

I hope you enjoy them! I would love to hear what you all think.

A story ending in GM fisting. How risky is that for a predominately straight Loving Wives/Incest story site like this?

On a Train Bound for Nowhere
I met a woman who’d been rode hard and put away wet.
in Humor & Satire Stories

This old-timer’s tale features a cantankerous fellow who gets a visit from a cupid-like physical therapist during Christmas time. Also in the mix is his encounter with a fellow patient at the doctor’s office who sings a lusty parody based upon Kenny Rodgers’ song, ‘On a Train Bound for Nowhere.’ Amidst the tale, we learn about recently lost love and how the therapist is linked to that past event. It’s light, heartwarming, and fun, as this commenter noted. I’d appreciate your reading and thoughts in the comments on it.

“I had a great time reading this and the best laugh I’ve had in a long time. Thanks for taking the time to write this.”

Once again, my fellow scribes, my latest draft was rejected by the powers in charge here because I mentioned that characters in my story (NOT engaged in sexual activity) were 17. Am I to understand that no one is ever to be mentioned in an erotic tale UNLESS they are above the age of 18, REGARDLESS of the fact they were simply in the story? Are characters not allowed to mention parts of their life BEFORE they turned 18?
I would very much appreciate your helpful suggestions/advice.

You can have those characters, but mention of certain numbers may be triggering automatic rejections. When you resubmit try saying in the notes to the editor that the underage characters are not near any sex. Make sure that includes not thinking sexual thoughts or watching anything sexual or having anyone think anything sexual about them or masturbating.

Edited to add, you can mention that a character lost their virginity, or was sexual assaulted, or had a child, before they were 18, but not go into any detail about it, from what I understand.

If the mention of a seventeen-year-old in your story had no connection to sexuality and you refile with a polite note in the notes box that it doesn't and could Laurel point to the point at which the system believes it does--and you do so without dramatics--chances are good it will go through. Before that you might take a hard look at why you need to have a seventeen-year-old character in your story--what you will lose by not doing the work to upage the character by a year.

I thank you. I have rewritten the piece and resubmitted removing the flashback mention of the (Gasp!) 17-year-old, non-sexual version of my 19-year-old heroine.

I don't think anyone including underage characters should have to take any "hard look" at why they are including them at all, if it's in a non-erotic context. That's just silly.

Finally, someone I can relate to. Thank you for this; I was sincerely wondering where my people had gone to.

I submitted my first story a few days ago, In The Arms of Angels Pt. 1. It's the story of a young boy, Jason, who was taken from his mother and two sisters when he was four after a bitter divorce between his parents. His father cut all ties with the women and moved himself and Jason to the West Coast. Now 15 years later Jason can reunite with his lost family after the death of his lying father. He eventually gets into a relationship with the three women who are now strangers to him. It's a taboo and submission story.

I have parts 2 through 6 in the pending queue, but they've been there a while. I'm beginning to think I shot myself in the foot by submitting, finding mistakes, and then uploading edited docs causing them to fall further down the queue. But, part 1 seems to have been received well. I hope the others follow suit.

May I ask, how is this topic different from "New Story Advertisements"? I'm not criticizing, it's a real question. Is it the intended audience?

It's in the Author's Hangout, that's the only difference.
I'd say posts here are more likely to go into the aspects of the craft, touch on the trials and tribulations with the submission system, and other topics that aren't of interest to readers who don't need to know how the sausage is made (as long as it's hard and throbbing).

The other thread is simply advertisements worded for the readers' benefit.

I am very pleased to report that the gatekeepers approved my changes and you can now find the second installment of the My Cousin Isabelle series here: My Cousin Isabelle - Part 2

She and I are discovering a plethora of new sensual adventures together. I hope you enjoy.

Also in the Heroism - Oggbashan Memorial event:

Debra's in for a Pound
To save the animal shelter, she went much further than she'd expected.

It's in NC/R which I once said I'd probably never write in. It has certainly been a different experience to the happy-go-lucky I/T stories that seems to make up the bulk of my works.

Not for a contest or event this time, just another week in the life of our polyamory troupe:

Barstow - Almost Caught at Work

Following chapter is still WIP and was intended to be a Nude Day piece. Can't save it 'til next near since it's timeline development. Oh, well.
