What have you learned recently?

That one, no... I don't think that one made it to the US "easy listening" station when I was a kid :D

Really? There are as yet undiscovered nomadic tribes in the Brazilian rain forests who have sung rousing choruses of “Dreadlock Holiday” around the campfires.

I have the same issues. They don't like to get hard enough to attach those things. However, when they were pierced, they were always hard, and I kinda loved it.

See, and that's exactly why I won't get mine pierced. You're the second person who I've heard of having permanently hard nips when pierced. I dread the chaffing!

It wasn't bad at all. I honestly loved it, but also didn't. But the hard all the time was okay. I'm too big to go bra-less so, it wasn't as if I was tenting a t shirt.

Not sure if I've mentioned this in another thread but...I recently discovered that I've been misunderstanding some lyrics to a song for the last 35 or so years!

Kenny Loggins Danger Zone. Yeah, the Top Gun song.

All these years of singing along and I've been doing it wrong.

"Highway to the Danger Zone
I'll take you right into the Danger Zone"

and for the last 35 years I thought it was

"I went to the Danger Zone
I'll take you right into the Danger Zone"

All those times singing in the shower or the car seat. Just blows my mind...lol. "Highway" doesn't even make sense. He's flying a plane!

Really? I think I'd love that, too. That's the only thing I've heard that made me actually want to do that.

I just learned that the word “goodbye” originally came from a contraction of “God Be With Ye”. 🤨

My slow brain just sounded out @ydahecnot 's username.
(And sometimes I think I should apply for Jeopardy. Yeah, I guess not. Ugh.)

Today I learned that supposedly there's a scratch card in New Hampshire that smells like bacon when you scratch it. Or at least there was a few years ago when this podcast came out... might have to investigate this next time I'm up there.

Is there one for “that,” too?
