What has Lit given you?

The opportunity to meet some good people that are not embarrassed with who they are. Individuality is a right, and here, it is respected.
We are all different, we see things in our own way, for our own reasons. Having a place to share openly in a judgment free zone gives everyone freedom.
What has Lit given me? Friends I can relate to and open up to on an honest level knowing I will not be looked down on because I'm wired differently.
Thank you all, thank you Lit for offering me statuary.

The chance to get ideas out of my head and onto "paper" for others to enjoy. (Currently at 150k+ reads if the handful of stories I've published, hopefully a few of those have enjoyed them 😃).

Chance to chat with folk in the groups and in DMs, answering questions strangers have about my sexual life (past and present)

I came with a couple of stories to tell and I'm now three years into my writing career with 50+ stories and publishing outside Lit for the occasional buck or two.

Lit gave me a crash course into online fun when the terms used were ā€œcyberā€ and ā€œphoneā€.
It allowed me to get to know a couple of really nice ladies. Interactions here have helped me to understand my personality and how others view me. It also revealed things such as insecurities I didn’t know I had.

On the flip side it has left me lonely too, ghostings that leave you wondering why and times like now when it seems I can’t buy a friend.

One thing that here that lit taught me was that even though I thought I was being creative or unique in a few acts, it turns out many here have done or tried it. I enjoy the interaction with other lit people. For me (male) it helps me get the female perspective on topics. Helps me understand the how the female thought process is regarding sex a tiny bit without holding back if I were to ask person to person. I understand this is a selective audience here who gives their opinions, but at least it's a start.
