What happened to all of the doom and gloom economic threads?

I know it's a great day for America when more than half of the previous page is filled with posts by those on my ignore list. Especially when it's Dizzybooby and Koaladerp.

I see that Vettefail is at it again too, posting stories already debunked nine ways to Sunday with Koaladerp clinging tightly to his pant leg. It must be any given day of the week.

Our deficits are falling at the fastest rate in 60 years.
After shedding jobs for the past decade, Manufacturers have added 500,000 in the past three.

So much for the doom and gloom predictions. This thread has been going on for years now, with the usual suspects continually moving the goalposts. Yet the original post still remains true.

:D

upon further review, while its true, its misleading

Fed-up doctors are fleeing Medicare

Why are doctors cutting off Medicare patients? The program's payment rates haven't kept up with inflation, while some physicians are concerned about government regulations. In 2015, Medicare will start penalizing doctors who fail to use electronic medical records and send data to the government on quality measures, the newspaper noted.

There's also the threat of lower payments. Doctors could see reimbursements cut by one-quarter starting next year unless Congress agrees to delay the reductions, which it has in the past, the piece added.

I think that this might be it.

Partly, but the story is false for yet another reason.

A new Republican House proposal would push federal workers off their employer-sponsored health plan and onto the insurance exchanges being established under the Affordable Care Act. They are trying to poison the well - so to speak- by trying to take away benefits of federal employees. Benefits which they already earned in the case of retirees.

Nothing like creating something so that you can then bitch about it. ;)

still living in a trailer?

I haven't lived in a trailer since I was a child. I own two homes now, one in Orlando where my sister is living, and one here in New Jersey. A nice 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 story home. Oh, and a cabin in the Poconos.

You know nothing, JenDumbasastumpInFlorida.

What part of the daily treasury statement is in error?

Link it. You made the claim. I mean, you just posted someone else's claims..
Ah, there it is.. Where does it say that the debt hasn't changed in 70 days?

All you have is a biased article from a known whackadoodle news site. You may as well have used PJMedia and sealed your fate.

Open up and study the two links provided in the article, notice the dates of the reports and notice the dates May 17, 2013 and the date of the report July 26, 2013.

I never willingly go to whackadoodle sites and provide them ad revenue.

So IF these charges are true why hasn't Congress put a stop to it? Surely the GOP controlled House could do something. Boehner apparently knows all about it. Unless of course, it's all on the up and up, and not the 'lawless' activities you are accusing them of.

Treasury Secretary Lew sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner. In the letter, Lew said the Treasury would begin implementing what he called “the standard set of extraordinary measures” that allows the Treasury to continue to borrow and spend money even after it has hit the legal debt limit.

Like I said, Another Vettefail.
