I've demonstrated easily that for 3 years, no matter what the economy was doing, it was always a sign of recovery.

I don't know what more I can do. I've said often that we're following the pattern of the Japanese Lost Decade, but here we see that I'm too cowardly to actually make predictions. Then I'm accused of being terrified of reality. It just doesn't get any funnier than that; one of the reasons that keeping this thread going has been such a delight and a fascination to me.

I guess if you say "recovery" often enough, you can claim credit for it and when it doesn't happen, you can just say, well, it WOULD have worked if it weren't for the obstructionism!

Then there's the old fall-back: blame Capitalism, blame Republicans, blame Bush, blame A_J and Vette for "wishing" the economy into the red...
