What happened to all of the doom and gloom economic threads?

Then why should vette and I support you in any, way, shape or form if pride gets in the way of you supporting yourself by accepting temporary work?

Vette's been unemployed for almost a decade.

You probably don't pay anything in federal taxes, as a "sovreign citizen".

Because if you support me I'll have far more time and flexibility to get the right job, quicker, and will pay more taxes in the long run. If I'm doing 50 hours at Steak and Shake plus token family time I'm not looking for a job in my field.

Bullshit.

You're saying you're incapable of doing two things at once in a two-week period when you're telling us that you've had the time to become and expert in just about everything there is to be discussed.

Seems that you might have to actually sacrifice a little token family time or cut back to 40 hours if it means advancing yourself.

Isn't that the reason you took on those fucking student loans?

Does that, or does that not have one fucking thing to do with what I said to U_D this morning when I said you may go ahead and ad hominem without my participation?

This is one reason why no one will talk to you.

U_D got into something I said to busybody.

You got into something I said to U_D.

You saw an opportunity to grind an axe and actually ignored anything going on today...

You really need to seek some mental health expertise.

AJ truly makes an art form out of psychological projection.

Not only is shit-butt-cockman unemployed, he uses the communist VA, and allows himself to draw on socialist security.

He's a real pinko.

He's probably got a corvette van that he drives around and smokes blunts in.

Judging from the response, you must have nailed him.

So you really hate the military?
and old people?
and rich people?
and you're an anarchist?

Do you think the Steak and Shake boss is going to be willing to give me time off to go to six or seven interviews plus second interviews?

What if I was the average working guy living more or less paycheck to paycheck? Steak and Shake isn't going to pay my mortgage and other expenses even at 50 hours. Should I foreclose on my house and send a shockwave through the economy or should there be unemployment benefits there to help me out until I find a new job? Which approach is better for the economy? For those around me?

So you really hate the military?

So it's okay with you for people to participate in heavily socialized government-run, government-provided healthcare systems.

But if it's a program where the government assists people in getting health care in the private sector from Humana, well that's definitely a horrible thing.

The only people participating in the "heavily socialized government-run, government-provided healthcare system" are our brave and courageous soldiers and you would deny that to them? You would deny that we owe them everything to make their lives more comfortable for what they have given us? YOU must hate the military SO much?

As for Medicare, if I choose to participate it's something I paid for my whole working life. It's not being given to me for free, I paid for it. And if you jealous that I have that and you don't, tough, work, get a job and pay your share, so you will be able to enjoy a substandard system of care like me.

Same for Social Security, I paid for it, my employer paid for it, together we were forced to give our hard earned dollars to the government. Who told us they would put our money in a trust fund, to earn a specified, by the government, amount of interest over the years that we paid in to it, only to have the cocksuckers, politicians, steal it out of the trust fund and replace it with a pile of worthless IOU's.

The way Obamacare is structured, more people will be without healthcare in two years than there are now. So tell me what we get for all that money that's better then now?

This is going to be a fun post. :)

Only the best for our military! So they deserve socialized medicine. Not the semi-socialized health insurance of Obamacare that utilizes the private sector, but full-on socialized medicine literally paid for and provided by government doctors. When did you become such an ardent supporter of socialized medicine?

And no, you're wrong that the only people people participating in government-provided medicine are the military. Have you ever heard of public hospitals? Public long-term care facilities? Public clinics? Public mental hospitals? Used by patients on Medicaid? Of course you haven't!

You would deny that we owe them everything to make their lives more comfortable for what they have given us? YOU must hate the military SO much?

Yeah, nine years active duty USAF medical corps, two deployments (Kuwait and Afghanistan), current USAF reserves, four years as a private medical contractor for the USAF/Navy serving service members coming in from downrange with acute TBI (traumatic brain injuries). And my wife has 13 years USAF experience, also medical corps. You sound like an absolute genius telling me I hate the military and their health care. Keep talkin, bro.

How is Medicare a substandard system of care? You go to the exact same doctors and get the same benefits or better as if you had private insurance.

Aren't you glad you have your Medicare instead of going without health coverage? It works pretty well, doesn't it? That's not to say that there isn't room for improvement but you're massively better off for socialism you justify.

Sorry but no. That's not how social security works.

LOL wut? You think access to health care is being decreased even though more people are getting it? And what happened to the conservative argument that Obamacare is going to overload the medical system? Suddenly you're flip-flopping and saying FEWER people are going to get care now? Doctors are going to be bored with so few patients?

Which story are you going with: Doctors are going to be overwhelmed or underwhelmed? You can't have it both ways.
