What happend to Lit Chat?

I haven't been able to login for days. Can't even get the login screen. It just stays on the screen that says Initializing..... grrrrrrrr!

That's happened to me over and over for a long while. It's actually the reason I left Lit for a bit, the Bulletin was what hooked me back

It's still there, but it's tricky.
There's something fail about it, but you have to keep reloading it
to get past the initializing screen for some reason.

Once you actually see the login screen, though, it works fine.
Relatively.

It's not a well made chat program, kinda buggy and at times very laggy.

Yep. What he said. You just have to reload five or ten times. Eventually, it'll let you in.

It's always been unreliable even when it was up and running. Maybe they are upgrading.. just being an optimist here

I've reported the problem, but no reply so far. I haven't been able to get in since Saturday, and I'm an every day visitor. Now it hangs on Initialize EVERY time for me. Very sad, I've met a lot of long term kink friends there.

Lit chat back when I first started on Lit had problems but it was fun. When they upgraded to a new and better one, well it isn't. And it just isn't worth the trouble. I started on Lit Chat in 2001 and the Bulletin Board beginnig 2002. Maybe they will get something better someday. They made the first upgrade back in 2004 or so and I've pretty much stayed away from Chat as it didn't work well. The BB is still fun. Good Luck.

Back in my day you needed a certain number of posts to put a title up and a few more for a picture. I don't remember the numbers.
