Their role is to peddle their wares. They have no right to deny someone a lawful purchase of a gun.

I thought Conservatives said a company has an absolute right to dictate how it runs its business.

A little thing often called "Gun Control Laws". If you don't like the Walmart rules they've handed down, try somewhere else. If I'm not mistaken, Walmart is a family owned business, thus private no matter how large it seems to the general public. I don't think constitutional rights or privileges apply to them in the sense of selling items, but they do have the right to establish their own age requirements for buyers.

As a private industry they have the right ot set whatever policy they want until a court decides otherwise. Quite frankly I'd just as soon see their policy stand, let the market decide.

Bullshit. They either sell them or they do not. They cannot choose their customer.

That only applies to companies when they're discriminating against blacks, women and gays, not when they offend gun owners.

If you want your kid to have a gun, then buy him a fucking gun.

Not ALL conservatives SFB, I said that.

But they opened up a new market. I'll sell ANY 19 year old an AR-15 IF they can pass the background check.

In the UK there have been several instances of stores declining products to minors, for public safety. The latest has been acid, in the wake of several acid attacks.

I doubt minors are covered by this type of discrimination law.

They should only sell guns bundled with booze. Problem solved.

Dick's Sporting Goods imposed a 21 Year age limit too.

Private businesses should be able to put in place any rules of sale that they want. And if people don't like it, they can stop shopping there.

They, you, and everybody have the right to sell whatever they want to whoever they choose as long as the sale is within the law. They are NOT denying anyone the right to lawfully purchase a gun, they are simply saying to children. If you want to purchase a gun you will have to go elsewhere.

Who the fuck buys a gun at Walmart? It's the left screaming for a higher age limit and Walmart, like so many others is virtue signaling to keep them off their back, not that that are one of those targets, like the NRA, that the Progressives love to hate because they wan't to use pressure to force Walmart to pay "a living wage." So, BND, what Walmart is doing is to please you, but as far as you are concerned, there is no right move that they can make. You'd bitch like hell no matter what they did.

I am sure they wont mind selling guns to kids with mental health issues. Why would they want their name brought up whenever somebody wants to shoot schoolkids.
