What fun thing did you survive...

There are so many things that we did as kids and teens that not only endangered our own lives but also many others.

You know driving drunk at over 100mph at night with the lights off and stuff like that. I won't even go into the more dangerous things.
Ah yes, the teens. I remember my third ever drink-til-you-drop party. Or rather, I don't. I'm told that I ended the night by jumping off a 45 meter high bridge, because "hey, it's only water down there. Water is soft and I'm a good swimmer." Then I woke up at the hospital. Three days later.

There is a bridge over the Mississippi near my parent's home, which crosses over just above lock & dam #1 from St. Paul to Minneapolis.

We used to cross said bridge, but it would be easy to use the roadway or sidewalks. Much, much more challenging to cross under the road, by climbing up the concrete arches, then sliding down the other side, and repeat.

The most terrifying part is as you reach the high point, and have to work your way between the concrete piers that support the decking, above the arch top.

(Sometimes, I wonder what my own kids are up to. Then I decide, somethings are better left unknown!)
