What feeds your soul?

I'm hoping this is the start to some real soul food for me:

I found an address that I believe to be where my older brother lives, though I'm not positive about it. He severed all family contact 7 or 8 years ago.

I wrote him letter this morning; it's now in the mailbox awaiting pickup.

I hope my letter finds him and he can find it in his heart to return some kind of correspondence...just to know he's OK would feed my soul quite a bit.

That's wonderful, and very brave of you, MrWag. I hope he responds, not only for you but for himself. :rose:

Scaly--I'll keep you in my thoughts. I hope this turns into something terrific for you both.

no ed, I didn't sent it either of those two methods. I think you have to sign for both and I'm not sure if he'd put in the effort to go get it (I think they try a couple attempts and then you have to go to the PO).

If this doesn't get a reponse, I might try that though.

My sister has done this sort of thing a couple times and he didn't respond, but then they never got along anyway. I'm sure I'm the closest to him in the family....we did a lot of partying together years ago...but I grew up (somewhat) at some point.

I will keep you all posted on this.

Thanks Ed.

{{{{{{{ scaly }}}}}}}}}}} Know you are in my thoughts too.....

The sister that is just older then me is "lost" like you brother is. I've not spoken to her in over 5 years, and it breaks my heart.

my daughter's ongoing happiness and success

the original cast recordings of any of a number of Broadway musicals
NYC
very French movies
etc...

Spending some time with my grandmother.

And a couple of text messages from my guy while I was out of town.
