E gave me a get well present and a card when he came by to visit me. At first I thought it was my birthday gift since my birthday is on Wednesday, and said, "Oh my gosh. How sweet of you to remember!"

Then he said, "But, baby, it's too early for your birthday."

So now I have this cute, stuff toy sitting on my bed smiling at me. I was just so touched that he could be so thoughtful. Now all I could think of is: He loves me. He loves me. He loves me. (And I'll refrain from doing cartwheels in my pajamas. Honest!) I feel like a silly lovesick teenager. LOL!

And to think I almost got mad at him because he was late arriving at my apartment.

But he sure got some tonight.

my daughter, the girl that thinks everyone is smarter than her, was recently nominated to apply for an ASP next summer at a well known private school. The opportunity to apply is by invitation only; the application is more intense than any college one I have seen.

She's trying to decide if she wants to apply; I hope she does, even if she gets declined, it would still be a learning process for her.

That's great! I hope she does apply and get accepted. Wish her luck for me.
