What feeds your soul?

Finally being able to hold my son for as long as I want.
Spending an hour just watching the expressions on his face.

That's one of the best WFMS I've read in a long long time.

Love.
Love is what feeds my soul. Love for my children. Love for my family. Love for my friends. Even the love that I'm longing to one day find again in a partner.
In the end Love is what's important in life. Love feeds my soul.

Telling him in a hushed whisper, "You're my guy." And an equally hushed response, "Yes, I am."

The sight of my little guy curled up asleep with one small hand tucked under his cheek.

People that are able to laugh at life and its predicaments ~ also, being able to laugh at myself. Maybe I'm in the wrong thread but, it does feed my soul :)

Having my daughter burst into the house after a band competition literally screeching with joy that they won first place in their division, beating a rival band for the first time in 6 years. Seeing the happiness and pride on her face definitely fed my soul and probably will for many days to come.

*grins* she said the neighborhood near the school probably got woke up around 11pm when the buses finally rolled in and the band (225+ kids), the directors, the parents, etc were all screaming and cheering still even after a 2.5 hour drive :D

Watching both of my daughters perform their dance routines in our local theatre and do it brilliantly. Having my youngest sit through the second half with out complaint or misbehaviour. Having my oldest say 'Thank you for coming' to her Grandparents unprompted and best of all that they both had such a good time. :)
