What feeds your soul?

It's been a long time since I've felt anything soul-filling.

But today, lunch with my family certainly filled my soul. My children are pretty cool people., except they take it as their sworn duty to poke fun at me at every opportunity. ;)

And I always love it when the pretty young server can make my son blush. :)

I had a wonderful phone chat with my daughter today. We seem to be able to make each other laugh very easily. She and I have very similar senses of humor.

About a half hour after we hung up she text-messaged me: U R truly special.

This is becoming a habit young lady, and that feeds my soul.

Thanks for the compliments, I think he's gorgeous too, but I'm a touch myopic in that department.

Well, he is a sweetie, but, yeah, we're all biased when it comes to our babies. :)

Except for my husband. When he called his parents after our four-year-old was born, my mother-in-law asked, "Who does she look like?"

My husband replied, "Yoda."

One wall of our living room has four sets of newborns' pics on it, and my husband has dubbed it the Wall of Yoda.

Thank you, papaquoll.

Your little one is really tiny, isn't he? I didn't realize until I saw the pic of him holding hands with his brothers.

gosh just so cute...makes you want to just slurp them right up. :)

Son No:2 came out looking like a skun rabbit, fortunately Mr food is my friend stacked it on pretty quick and turned out alright. :D

Yeah he really is little, it's a bit daunting at times but we'll learn as we go along. It's amazing to see a personality emerging already, my eldest was stroking his head the other night and when he stopped LF had a little cry so big brother went back to stroking and all was quiet, three times he did it to him. :D

A certain friend who instinctively seems to know when I need a good laugh.

Scaly--your post makes me smile and go...awwww....

my sister's support. She's very good at comforting me and helping me grow, and not be so hard on myself.
