What feeds your soul?

Finding extra frames so I can put up pictures of my friends on a very cool shelf in the living room. :cathappy:

The sight of a small hand in mine as he comes to have mommy look at a "boo-boo".

i shared this elsewhere, but i thought i would put it here.

seeing my son learn how to blow his first bubble with bubble gum.

(it's the cutest thing.)

That's adorable. I can just picture how wide open his eyes must have been.

actually the whole process was funny, especially since he shot bubble gum across the room a few dozen times before he succeeded. i ened up dodging bubble gum missles. and just giving him a new piece because he was so determined to do this.

and wouldn't you know that the batteries on both my digital cameras needed charging, so i didn't get to capture that moment. [sighs and mutters something about stringing up the husband for not putting the cameras on the charger]

gotta give your boys all the credit EJ, they spanked us. we get good pitching in one game, and we can only score 1 run. fuck.

Music

Music feeds my soul.

recantours, paul okenfold, editors, Mew, NIN, red hot chili peppers,

you guys here in the HT Cafe...

you make me laugh,
you make me see the world from a totally different way--but it's a very good way
you are all uplifting when i need it most--even when i sometimes don't recognize that need.

watching my son want to be just like dad.

my husband was cooking dinner and had a battle with a jar of hot sauce; the hot sauce took it out on his shirt, so the hubby just stripped out of the shirt and went on about the business of making dinner. half an hour later, the hubby is still shirtless because it is hot and humid here, so the little guy comes in the office, looks at his dad, strips off his shirt, and then grins that "see-mom-just-like-dad" grin.

SJ: you should only see the size of the shit-eating grin on my face upon reading that. :>

That's so adorable.

My two youngest children do this when my husband takes off his shirt. They're girls. Should I be worried? :D

right now: a slice of a flourless chocolate cake with real whipped cream and cinnamon. yes, cinnamon.

my wife kicks ass!
