What feeds your soul?

I watched a show on OLN last night that was so inspirational. It was about a former Detroit Lion, Mike Utley. His neck was broken during a game in the early 90's and he is now a quadriplegic. His story and his determination to progress and not give up, was riveting. It was uplifting and it fed my soul. It also made me wonder how many of us live up to our full potential, and what we could accomplish if we did.

My very first story published / posted on Lit... Ya it's been a long road but I finally made it.

EJ, I was about to tell you that I missed you yesterday and the day before, but after reading this, I'm not so sure.

(I really did wonder where you were.)

awwww... you missed me?

i was taking a whirlwind tour down memory lane... three days off and roaming around to various haunts with a friend. among our stops was a great mexican joint where i had a flauta.

it was a great 3 days though. :) got lots of free stuff thrown at us when we went back to our alma mater... plus i bought a fantastic watch (a cheapy job that i can wear while biking) and a new hat. yay!

my nephew running to me at the airport and giving me a huge hug :)

Kids and their love fill my soul.

Having my son put both his little hands on my cheeks and say, "I love you mommy."

finally... directv just showed up and spent 15 minutes putting up a new dish that i spent a month fighting over.

sorry. not to minimize the above two posts... i'm just more technological than familial.

lol. in a way i'm almost disappointed that it got fixed... this was my excuse for switching to comcast and getting highspeed internet (i loathe comcast cable... all cable actually).

~ a music file that her Master sent her, and the vision that it evoked deep within her soul :rose:

i love the fact that it was so cool out this morning, i had to wear jeans.

i came in 2nd in another tourney today... that's 2 seconds, a first and two times out on the bubble. a pleasing record IMO.

That so many of my dear friends are having such lovely days. It is definately soul feeding.

:)

Walking into the living room to find my little man alseep with his head smushed into his football bean bag chair and the newspaper lying over his head so only his peacful little face shows.
