A rare and precious jg sighting!![]()
It takes a lot to come to this type of realization and for many they never get to this point in their lives. It sounds like you have done a lot of soul searching as of late ~ I can relate with you and can say with 100% confidence, GOOD FOR YOU!!! We all have to look out for our own best interests. Rarely, is this a task that someone else will take on for us.
I'm glad to see you jg and hope everything is going well for you!

One english teacher that I had as a junior and senior was so inspiring, that I wound up taking every course of hers that I could cram into my schedule. I didn't care what genre (reading subjects) she taught I was going to be in her class.
You are very special PTM![]()

This just makes me want to shout with joy.

I agree with you about the enthusiasm. I made a promise to myself (and my future students) that if I ever get to the point that I don't enjoy what I do (and by enjoy, I mean...anticipate getting up every day and going to work!) I will change careers. Not only would it be unfair to myself, but I feel I would be doing a huge diservice to my students as well.
Now, with this being the beginning of my fourth year at this school, I definately have "my" students. It is heartwarming to know that they enjoy having me as a teacher/mentor/coach. It makes my job absolutely fulfilling.![]()
