What feeds your soul?

I'm not sure which I would prefer. I don't mind going mid-August and getting out the first part of June. Then again, I'm used to it!
yes. but you're in california... so the time difference accounts for some of that compared to those of us on the east coast.

i saw a deer in my backyard yesterday. i haven't seen one in months. it was about 7am. around 8:30 or so, i looked out, and in the same spot there were two turkeys scurrying around. I was watching them for a couple minutes, when all of a sudden a deer (most likely the same one) came running out of the woods and froze about 20 feet away from the turkeys (they looked like nice big juicy turkeys too). they all stayed in the same spots for a while and were still there when I went back to work
when i was going to college in western maryland we had an interesting turkey story... there are lots of wild turkeys in the mountains out there.

anyway, while driving on a road below a tall cliff, a guy gets bombed by a turkey that fell down from the rocks. the turkey hit the car on the hood, bounced up and flew over the car. it then landed on the car behind him and broke its windshield. it turned out that THAT car was a police cruiser. the cop pulled the guy over and gave him a ticket. can you fucking believe that? gave the guy a ticket just because the turkey happened to bounce off his car and shatter the cops windshield. the ticket, of course, was for flipping him the bird.

i know a guy whose father was riding a motorcycle at about 50mph when he got hit in the head (from the side) by a turkey. knocked him off the bike and he died.
that sucks. sorry to hear about this.

and to think, it was almost our national bird.

WFMS...

* A friend who came rolling in to save the day when I was feeling unraveled.

* A few good laughs with two brothers and some great girl talk with my sister in law. So great it sent my brothers running to go make dinner! I got the distinct impression that said brothers became mighty uncomfortable when we started talking about sex and stories about sex and a whole bunch of other good stuff. Whimps I tell ya!

* Still knowing when enough is enough. Knowing and doing can be two different things I know but... let's just thing positive on that one. ;)

* Once again when taking care of two kids I end up with more, this time I'm holding to my limit of six, so far so good. Everyone answered yes to the question ''Did you have a good day?", that is perfect to me.

I'd like to go and see some of the babes with lots of inked flesh, but I have too many things going on.
when i worked in dover, DE during race weekends there was always plenty of nudity. sometimes there was even some worth looking at... the majority were manly lookin' broads though.

great stories from those years though. the rednecks used to steal the empty refrigerator boxes from our dump and make outhouses out of them. sadly, they left them on our loading dock when they did it.

Why thank you EJ - when I keep it simple the best things show up. :rose:

that was years ago, maybe 10.

it's motorcycle week here this week, this coming weekend is the big weekend. you know, Laconia, Weirs Beach.

there already has been several fatalities.

I'd like to go and see some of the babes with lots of inked flesh, but I have too many things going on.
Vroom vroom Scaly! I had signed a P&S on a condo in Gilford on lovely Saturday in May a few years back, I figured just during Bike week alone I could pay about 50% of the mortgage, then ski season would more then finish it. After reading the condo docs and financials etc there was some creative math going on, I recinded but I know my soul belongs up there. Maybe not during Bike Week but... ;)

Gilford's a nice town. I live very close to one of the main routes to laconia, and you know those harleys, loud as hell. I'll be hearing them all night over the weekend. it's fun though. I have actually seen people set up picnic tables and barbeques just to watch the bikes parade out of here on sunday.
It can be a lot of fun. Wave and smile as they leave Scaly - enjoy the weekend.

Happy Father's Day to you too. :rose:

(Now that I've counted noses here, it's time to go to bed. Take care guys.)

At a place not too far from where I live here in Ontario Canada every Friday the 13th they have a thing where anyone with a Harley rides into this tiny Port town on the lake.

It's insane..

took a bike ride this morning... 4 miles straight into the wind is soul-feeding in one way... 4 miles with the wind at my back and getting home in about 10 minutes is a whole different kind of bliss. :)

i watched a squirrel romp around and in my apple tree this morning. it wasn't ordinary squirrel romping though... he was hanging upside down, doing acrobatics, running down to the ground and tumbling... more playful and artistic than ordinary scampering.

Did you give the squirrel a 9.9?

shared laughter feeds my soul, whether it is shared within the room or across continents.

Mine too. Laughing together with my husband over old silly jokes.

Wise words from a friend. :rose: for you.

feed my soul

Good friends, laughter and my kids.

Regarless of what mood you are in friends and kids can always get you to smile.
You feel warm from deep down... and you know that no matter what happens in life they will always be by your side.

:) Misty

Good stories of any kind, in particular films and erotica. Laughter, nice music, fun games. A relaxing drive. Any time spent and enjoyed with the people I love. The chance to confess my thoughts in places such as this. And last but not least, doing my katas.
