What feeds your soul?

now here's a couple of lazy asses.

How cute! I love the dog on a pillow. Reminds me of my cat. Only her favorite place to lounge is all the way under the quilt on the bed in the guest room, or in a pile of clean unfolded laundry.

might be cute, but he's probably pissing on the floor right now.

here's one from back before christmas. Any guesses which one's in charge here?
this is a metaphor for my life... gettin' pushed out of bed and onto the floor. :D

but there's more room on the floor ;)
true enough. :D

like my trumpet teacher used to say, "i wouldn't kick her out of bed... unless she wanted to do it on the floor."

i'm having such a blast watching these birds in my shrubs and on my dish. the window right next to the area is open and the chirping is so enjoyable... all the different sounds really amaze me.

we're going to get alberto-remnants later today so i'd imagine they're going to be very active preparing for it all morning. :)

Looks like he's put the big dog firmly in its place. With no pillow!

I was just a wee bit concerned you were going to take pictures of your kids...with their camera.

*trying to get the taste of foot out of my mouth now*

They are adorable Scaly!!! My freeloaders have to work just a teensie bit. One heck of an alarm system they are!

WFMS - waking up to a beautiful, cool morning. *contented sigh* Now, where's my coffee?!

I actually did think of that.. :p ...but 2 are in school right now (friday's their last day).

The other one has today off and therefore is still sleeping.

Still in school?! Wow!

We got out on June 1st.

Of course, I'm still working but, a much laid back schedule :D

Yep, I'd still be sleeping, if I could.

there's a bird out here on my dish that has what appears to be a log in its beak.

it just came back with what looked like the same giant twig. then he flew off in the other direction with it after beating the dish with it a time or two.

June 1st? when do you start the year?

Although EJ is right - I work 12 months...we don't start classes until mid-August.

When do your schools start?

Scalywag said:
most years after labor day, but some years, if labor day is on like the 5th through 7th of the month, they'll go 2 days before the labor day weekend.

I'm not sure which I would prefer. I don't mind going mid-August and getting out the first part of June. Then again, I'm used to it!

Today, quite out of the blue, I was reminded of a gift I bought for someone very special to me. Remembering the care of choosing and the reaction I saw when the gift was opened brought back waves of good feelings. I really love to find just the right gift for people who are important to me.
