What feeds your soul?

wfms~ The incredible daydream that He shared with me this morning :rose:

Yesterday's soul feeder

We had a wonderful rainstorm, a prelude to our monsoon season. In a little gully in our front lawn was a perfect-sized puddle of water for two kids (they were old enough to not drown-I'd guess 7 & 12 years old) to sit in and soak themselves to the bone. They were so excited and happy to simply splash each other with water.

When I walked by was reminded of and longed for the days of innocent youth, when jumping in puddles and piles of leaves left you feeling contented.

i saw "crash" the other night. it was a powerful movie and certainly deserved the oscar. i highly recommend it.... well written and directed.

for all it offered, the one thing that i'll take away from it other than the obvious message(s) is having finally seen jennifer esposito's nipple. it's everything i'd ever imagined it would be. :) i've thought she was hot as hell the first time i saw her on "spin city" and i continue to believe that.

Pearl fed my soul. That little cat's spirit touched me deeply. Now she's going to have a home and another soul to feed.

growing things fills my soul. Something about nurturing plants to fruition is soul satisfying

I got something I had wanted for a while. The right place at the right time. I was sort of adopted by this:

I have two now. They are like Mutt & Jeff...I'll have to get a family picture here sometime. They are getting along fairly well, which is both surprising and a huge relief.

The new one needs a name...any ideas? She's a she, btw.

No, that will never do.

Something Scottish or Gaelic I'm thinking. Hell, I even bought her a red plaid collar and leash (I draw the line at getting her a kilt and funky hat though)

:D

Sorry about that I missed the picture... first thing i thought of when I saw the dog was Judy..........because it reminded me of Toto in Wizard of Oz... lol.... small enough to put in a picnic basket... too cute

Victoria... Natasha...Nicky

Seeing Jazzy posting again feeds my soul. So nice to see your name pop up friend. :rose:

WFMS...

* Tease's heart - my how it grows. Congrats on the lovely addition to your family.

* Seeing fun around here.

* Knowing when enough is enough.

* Two kids sleeping soundly. Before bed I asked each ''Did you have a good day?" Each answered yes and with a hug and a kiss went off to bed.

* Love - in so many places. Getting a dancing nana actually fed my soul - well it was more like a snack. ;)

She is almost a Toto! A little chunkier though :)

*Hey, she might be the perfect accent for my next Halloween costume!*
